There is some confusion over Gracie Allen's actual birth-date with Census records of the State of California recording her birth in July 1895 though the date of birth given on her death certificate is July 26, 1902. What is certain is that together with her comedy and life partner George Burns, Gracie was a beloved part of early modern  entertainment and comedy history.
